Let the filming begin!

 Today I filmed the scenes with just our main charachter in it. We are using my brother as that actor. I asked him to film while he was laying in bed, so the scenery was conveniently set up. I was worried that becuase this video is supposed to be filmed during the day time, I couldn't film at night. But because of my schedule and our actor's schedule, we don't really have time to film during the day. However, the lighting is supposed to be dark and moody anyway. So, it is ok to film the parts that I filmed at night with a lamp on. I filmed and re filmed a few of our scenes.  I started by setting an alarm on his phone that would go off at 6:54, and filmed before it went off to catch the moment it did. I ended up having to redo this part, and so we set another alarm for 6:56. The next scenes using a phone, our actor is supposed to text a number that is his ex girlfriend. We used my phone number for him to text, and staged some fake previous texts. We then turned on my read reciepts so that it looked like I never responded even though I saw. We filmed some other shots, showing different angles. We used over the shoulder, POV shots, brids eye shots, and others. I sent the clips to my group for them to see. They thought they were acceptable. Overall, I think it was a successful day of filming!

 After a long journey with many ups and downs, our film is nearly to the finish line. Today, my group and I decided that a second opinion on our film would be a great idea. Mila said she would ask her mom to watch. Dara said she would ask her stepdad. Addie said she would ask her dad. I was going to ask one of my parents as well, but I realized I wanted someone less biased. I thought about the people I knew well enough to get a second opinion from, and whom from that group would be willing to give an honest review. I thought about my brother. Pitching Ideas

 Our group came up with a few pitches for our project: Pitch 1: A little girl's imagination gets out of hand one afternoon. Pitch 2: A girl is doing homework when suddenly she finds a mysterious note left in her book for her.  Pitch 3: A young mom is driving to pick up her son from school, when out of the blue and friend from her past comes her way.  Pitch one is an ideal one for our group, as it can involve girl characters, and our group has four girls. This leaves us options for us to have someone to film, which is good so we don't have to go out of our way to find another cameraman. This, along with the fact that the wording allows for wiggle room, is a pro to pitch 1. However, we would have to take extra steps to find a little girl to play one of the parts, which adds a bit of a challenge, but I think our group is up for that. Pitch 2 is also a reasonable pitch for our group, because we can have one of us acting and the rest of us tackling other responsibilities. Howe...
