 Today we filmed again. We had to refilm most of our commercial. This was because it was not long enough. Mila was not here today, so we had to improvise a little. Nicole and Dara did most of the filming. We went to the senior patio to film our first and second scenes. The first one we redid Nicole opening the lunchbox and finding the post it note. We made a bit longer. We also compressed it into one scene instead of having a cut. This added some time, which was needed. Then, I had to dress up as a boy again, due to what we drew in our story-board. The problem was, I didn’t have Mila’s jacket. So I used my own. We took a few takes panning over to me sitting on a bench alone. Nicole would walk over to me and hand me the note. I would then read it and walk away. We experimented with ways I could walk away. We tried a slight jog, a little skip, and then just a regular walk. After a few funny bloopers, we settled on just doing a happy walk. We re-filmed Dara taking off the sticky note from the camera and writing a note to put in the lunchbox, but after realizing that Dara was probably the best one to film, she had me step in to do it instead. It was a fun and productive day of filming, even though I had to leave a little early.
